New training session for the future overwinterers of the Concordia research station

From September 1st to 3rd we welcomed the people who will be in charge of the grey water recycling process in Antarctica for the next wintering. They were accompanied by technical managers from the French Polar Institute (IPEV) and the Italian PNRA (Programma Nazionale di Ricerche in Antartide).

For the 16th year, FIRMUS is training the staff and monitoring the operation of this process, which has been running since 2005 without any technical or health incident.

Jean-Christophe LASSERRE has been in charge of this training, as he does every year, using the ESA model that allowed the development of the process.
